Instrumentally, "The Unknown" is comprised of Mark on tenor saxophone, along with the Outer Bridge Ensemble, which consists of Steve Hudson on piano/wurlitzer, Mike Noordzy on bass, Jerome Jennings on drums, and David Freeman on percussion.
